Warranty Upgrade
At Great Central Auto every car we sell comes with an inclusive 6 months Warranty, provided by our partners at Warranty Solutions Group. This inclusive warranty will cover you for the first 6 months of ownership, up to a £1000 claim limit per claim.
We also offer our customer the opportunity to upgrade their warranty, to our Premium Warranty product, that will not only increase the length of cover to 12, 24 or 36 months. But will also increase the claim limit to £3000 per claim. We have also included our Premium Breakdown cover within the warranty upgrade.

Warranty levels
Below are our three car warranty plans. Platinum and Gold cover almost all of your vehicle's mechanical, electrical and electronic components - so many in fact that we only list the exclusions. Silver is a listed component cover that's most suited to the older vehicle.
The Level of Cover is determined by the age of the vehicle at time of purchase.
Platinum Cover
Available for cars up to 7 years old and 70,000 miles at the warranty start date. With a Claim limit of £3000

It pays towards the cost of repairing or replacing over 6,000 mechanical, electrical & electronic parts - including many normally excluded by other car warranty companies - so you can relax knowing your pride and joy is in safe hands.
Gold Cover Upgrade
Available for cars up to 10 years old and 100,000 miles at the warranty start date. With a Claim Limit of £3000
As one of the UK's best used car warranty plans, our Gold Car Warranty cover gives you outstanding protection against unexpected garage bills. Paying towards the cost of repairing or replacing around 6,000 mechanical, electrical and electronic parts - including many that other warranty companies normally exclude - your pride and joy is in safe hands. but doesn't include wear & tear, battery, DPF / catalytic converter, injectors or oil seals & gaskets.
Silver Cover Upgrade
For cars of any age or mileage.
Designed specifically for the older or higher mileage vehicle, Silver covers your car for a wide range of mechanical, electrical and electronic components under the main systems as shown below.
What's covered?
Your warranty upgrade covers you for a huge range of parts and the labour times involved to repair or replace them. Platinum and Gold both include around 6,000 mechanical, electrical and electronic components, whereas Silver covers a wide range of listed items.All with a £3000 claim limit.
